Some people are never happy
Did you know Apple hates women? Yeeeeah, I think they just assume if you paid for the first iPhone perhaps you'll save on your acrylic fill-ins.

My friends are awesome!
I'm 30!
I had an epiphany a few months ago. You know how when you're little, 30 seems like it's ancient? Well, 'little me' always assumed I would be married and have kids by that point. About, oh say, 9 months ago I was thinking about that an realized that meant that I would have to get pregnant in the next 2 weeks. Yeeeeeaah, no. But it does make you reevaluate this point in your life, and all that jazz.
But you know what? I spent this weekend with 3 distinct groups of friends, (not to mention a great boyfriend who catered to whatever I wanted) who all helped me celebrate with them. Michelle, Gary & Adam in particular. Honestly, by the time Sunday actually rolled around, the only thing that reminded me my birthday wasn't already over were the phone calls. I'm very lucky to have such great friends & family. I'm glad I didn't try the big party route, actually. It was so much fun to share with everybody else: Michelle's 31st (or 13th), Gary's 30th & Adam's graduation. We really need no reason for these get-togethers, but we'll make some up if we have to. I know!
Everyone can come over to play with my new Wii. ;) Because that's what all the cool kids in their 30's really want.
